Hello! I’m Sara
A student of yoga since my youth, my practice has been a steady companion through grief, injury and transition throughout my twenties. It unfolded for me in the most unexpected yet profound way during the birth of my first child, and became an anchor as I navigated the newness of mothering. Time spent on my yoga mat continues to offer a space to explore my edges — playing with the line between strength and softness, effort and ease. But my practice doesn’t begin or end on the mat.
Over time, yoga has invited me into a deeper relationship with my intuitive nature; learning to listen, feel and trust what arises. Through movement and mindful awareness, I’ve learned to lean into the wisdom of my body, allowing my practice — and myself — to continually unfold, evolve…and bloom.
Since beginning my formal yoga studies in 2009, my own practice — and the way I teach — has organically evolved to become more fluid, intuitive and feminine in nature. For me, yoga has always extended beyond asana and pranayama. In my classes, we might play with transitions, weave in mudra and philosophy, explore story through mythology, and leave plenty of room for curiosity, laughter and learning along the way.
If you’re ready to flow in a way that feels like your own, I invite you to come exactly as you are. To explore an embodied, inspiring and, most of all, playful approach to yoga — one that encourages you to listen inward, trust your own wisdom and reconnect with the joy that has been there all along.
EXPERIENCE + EXPERTISE
A Senior Yoga Teacher registered with Yoga Australia since 2009, Sara teaches and facilitates yoga classes, specialty courses, teacher trainings, workshops and mentoring programs, weaving uniquely feminine perspectives, herstory and philosophy into the way yoga is practised, taught and shared.
With a particular passion for supporting women through pregnancy, birth, postpartum and the many transitions beyond, Sara has become a respected voice within the Perth yoga community. Her work as a teacher, educator and mentor is grounded in both years of study and lived experience — as a woman, a mother and a lifelong student of yoga.

Thank you Bloom Yoga Room and Sara, for a wonderful weekend and an incredible 12 months together. My heart is full, my mind has been enlightened and my soul is shining. Together we walk away with a deeper awareness and connection to ourselves, our consciousness and the universe. The shift from doing yoga to living in a state of yoga has been one of the most powerful shifts in my life so far, and I am so very grateful for the journey. Om shanti shanti shanti."

"The teachers are experienced and supportive. At age over 65, I attend vinyasa flow classes where I am taught to use props to help me maintain certain poses eg. sitting cross legged comfortably. It is my “Happy Place” and makes everyone feel included and worthwhile."
