Looking for a fun kid-friendly yoga class that the whole family can enjoy?!
Each month we offer a Family workshop-style yoga class at our Kingsley Yoga Studio.
A fun, interactive experience for adults and kids to interact through play, partner yoga, breathing, and mindful touch. Family Yoga is suited for kids aged 5-10 years and adults of all ages and abilities.
The ultimate goal of yoga is to unite and in doing so connect with the present moment. And nothing deserves our presence more than children, who are naturally born yogis. When families practice yoga together, the benefits are plentiful.
For kids, yoga can help with growing pains, build self-awareness, relieve anxiety, and improve their focus. Family yoga includes all of these while helping to develop trust, communication, and connection in a way that is nurturing and not outcome-based like so many other things in their young lives.
An entirely different experience from a typical ‘grown-up’ or general yoga class, it typically includes:
Group and partner yoga poses
Fun games
Goofiness and playfulness
You don’t need to have any yoga experience, come as you are and be reminded of the joy and playfulness that each of us holds…regardless of whether you’re a big kid or a small one!

Just wanted to let you know how much Taylor and I enjoyed your family class last Saturday...Taylor felt so special being with all the mums and daughters. I have struggled for years to build a connection with Taylor, I can go for weeks without getting a cuddle - and not for lack of trying absolutely everything to bond with her. But on Saturday it was like a total transformation, I think I have finally hit on something that makes her understand how special she is to mummy...I was so emotional by the end of the class I had to hold back the tears. And Taylor was my happy little buddy for the entire day. So thank you so much for providing this beautiful class - we will definitely be back. And we are working hard at home on our partner poses, Taylor thinks she is some kind of Cirque de Soleil performer!
